will there's be more levels on blossom Blast. Previous replies suggested end of Feb but that's past and still stuck at 240, would love to continue playing

I am level 1313, and the entire time I have been playing this game, I have always wondered what’s the difference of getting 1,2, or 3 star? There is no incentive to strive for 3 star since I don’t see getting anything but higher points.
What happened to my friends. i had a few and we were exchanging lives and they all dissappeared. any ideas how to get friends back
