latest update malfunction for blossom blast saga?

today I downloaded the update on my phone. now I cant play it. when I click on the icon the screen goes gray then back to the icon. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling with same result.HELP

My boyfriend is in the same boat and I'm looking to help him. He has a LG Ultimate 2 and Blossom Saga worked fine up until the most recent update. Now it opens and closes immediately. The Google Play Store is riddled with similar complaints. However, I have an HTC M9 and mine was working and showing up to date. We tried uninstalling, clearing the cache and rebooting all to no avail.
