Thanks very much for the reply. Note: over the last week, since I commented on the "lives" issue, I have received 2 free lives from someone else. Hopefully, as mentioned, this will improve. I continue to send lives.

There is a slight glitch with some players not receiving lives. Make sure you have updated your game to the latest version.
As for the boosters, they have been temporarily turned off. It may take a few more weeks, but keep your game up to date and you'll soon have them back.
The game is going through several updates, and they are still working on making changes. Some of the things you see should be temporary.
I haven't received any tool paint,shovel or anything in a few years .I thought the game stopped sending them out.!!
I keeps sending lives as well. Seems like it's on a continuous loop, keeps allowing me to send lives via Facebook friends. However, am still not receiving any lives nor gifts such as "shovels, paint brush nor watering can". Also, ending or losing a level is now happening extremely quickly not giving you a chance to even see the end loss.
I keep sending lives, but never receive any back😭.
You should be getting facebook "friend" suggestions by clicking on the heart on the lower left side of your screen.
I find "googling" has always helped for levels I find tough. I'm up to Level 1659.
