Do you mean that mummy head when you say "companion"? That’s not a companion; that’s your avatar. You can find companions under this icon:

Unfortunately, that’s not how it works. If you move the = 0 in front of the 1, you don’t have five consecutive numbers. You can move the 2 in front of the 3 to get 1-2-3-4—that is, 4 points. 😉
