I've just taken a look. Following the automatic hints, I've come pretty far, but still needed three ads (2moves + 1move + ufo) plus at least 5 lollipop hammers to complete the level. It's a hard one for sure.

The All Stars or any tournament really is there to make King money. Why would they stop people from spending money in-game? That's what it's all about.

What is your question? Only people reaching first place advanced. If you didn't reach first place in the second knockouts, you weren't eligible to advance to the final knockouts.
