Try this trick: connect the game to Facebook, play it there until you have passed the road block >> continue on mobile device :-)

Have a check on the connection to FB. Seems this will solve it. I sometimes have to reconnect for all features to work in the game.

Got a workaround for those scenarios: connect the game to FB, play the level there - hey presto, you can now progress on your iPhone : )

Might be the connection that is not working. Try disconnect from FB, reboot, start the game and connect again.

Have you checked if the game connects ok to FB? Give it a disconnect, reboot, then connect again and it should work
