Sometimes the app store just says "open" but it actually updates the game. Try that and I will look with the team if the bug is still there. We managed to confirm on the new version that it is fixed, but your finding here helps us triple-check :)

Thank you for the feedback. We know some of you really enjoy replaying levels so it is something we will explore but for now we are testing this new version. But we always work on improving the user experience and really value your opinions, I promise the team is looking into this :)

Oh I am so sorry! Are you by any chance at the end of level content? Meaning you only have the mastery levels available ("the door")?

Hi bumblebea, as long as you have new levels to play you should be able to get your chef's hat back after winning 5 levels :)
