Yes, it appears teenybee was right. Still it looks like since you posted the point where Patricia reached the end of the map according to the player card, Patricia has maintained a pace of 210k per hour. So that speed at least is attainable in the Star Tournament.

280k per hour, wow that's a lot more than we thought possible! And even your rate of 203k per hour which has you in 4th place is a good bit more than morganleeoregon's suggested rate of 180k per hour which was thought to be good enough to win. I guess the question is: is this player where the player card says, or is this player already at the end of the map? My guess is that the majority of the points have already been scored in the Star Tournament, and the player card is just behind. Good catch, michimune! I hadn't noticed that Patricia is at the end of the map. It's hard to tell from the player card (since they are not updated in real time), but at this rate surely most of the points were scored in the Star Tournament at the end of the map. So that is clearly a way to be successful in the tournament!

So from all the leaderboards we have seen so far, it is clear that the current best achievable speed today is 250,000 per hour. This is significantly faster than last year; I wonder if the changes made to the game in the past year are responsible for it. I really hope someone who is achieving that rate will post here…

Please note that I am NOT saying that these are for sure bots. But it does seem possible for someone to create an AI bot to play Candy Crush if they have the right access to one. Thank you for the update! This is not the only board with that kind of pace - DragonExpress has shown a similar board. It looks like a faster pace than those of us here expected might be possible. Perhaps a new technique we're not aware of, or just greater skill. Or another thing I have wondered - could it really be an AI?…
