Ok, in that case it could be either the game app on PC or your mobile which isn't syncing to your FB. What browser are you playing in? Google Chrome comes with Flash inbuilt so if you're not using that you may want to give it a try.

I've had the treasure chest stuck without opening but not disappearing. What worked for me was to disconnect from Facebook, force close the app, reopen it and reconnect to my account. When the game loaded the chest opened and was able to move on.
