Have you started by looking for any game app and OS updates from the App store?

As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up.

What's the name of the challenge which you are playing? I don't recognise the big red hand as you say.

Most game apps will drain your battery depending how long you play. The only thing you can really do to minimize battery usage is turning the brightness down on your tablet, you wouldn't believe how much of a battery drainer that is! It's because of back-lighting that we measure battery life in hours instead of days!

Check for any Game App and OS updates for your tablet, in the worst case you might need to reinstall it.

It's roughly every couple of weeks but King never give a timetable on any of their updates. If you really can't wait you can always get yourself on Facebook or King.com and play the levels there.
