Have you connected your game to Facebook or Kingdom? And if you have, is it still connected to it? That's the only way to sync progress on multiple devices.

Uggh Timed levels are the worse in my opinion, don't really remember what I did here but I found some pretty useful tips in dealing with these levels, hope it will be the same for you! That wouldn't be a bad idea! The only thing I can think of is to connect your game to a Kingdom as you'll get help from other people playing that are not specifically your friends, less waiting in the end!

There's a way to reset your connection with FB using a web browser rather than the App, it's worked for a few people in my group with issues around connecting to FB so it's where I would start. Doesn't seem to be a way to fix this yet, still waiting on an update from moderators about this. The only things that's worked so far has been to play the level on mobile or tablet as it doesn't seem to be happening there, and then carrying on FB once completed.

Doesn't seem to be a fix for this yet, the only thing I've seen is that people have played the level on a mobile or tablet just to pass 785 and carried on again from FB once they completed the level.
