Actually, the FAQ's wording makes it seem like those who didn't qualify in Q1 may be placed in Q2. What happens if I don’t qualify? Last year, the limit was 3,000 candies per level. Multiplied by 30, that equaled 90k (there was a x30 multiplier for new levels). I don't know what the limit is this year, but it's probably around 3,000 again.

Those six tokens are for the whole tournament, they do not refresh. Use them wisely, that is, if you absolutely need them to qualify.
