Getting it late may not be bad, as you're grouped with the late starters as well. My tester account got the event about 27hrs before end of race. Its current score is not fantastic, but tops the group and has a good chance to move to the next round.

Not really. I set up a new account, Val, 12 hrs ago, to test some theories. After I completed level 48, this popped up, joining the Misty Team. Current score, after 10 levels.

The fun is more than double, the game offers a maximum of 255 extra moves for 10 gold bars. I did my experiment, and the offer was real. What a deal ???

Testing At my 1st try re-playing this level, without my usual bundle of starting boosters, my starting board was a lucky one, looks like mirror image of yours. After 1st move With 8 moves left, freeing one UFO, it in turned blasted off the other UFO And I completed the level with 1 move left.

Started playing the new levels, for Champions Race, but the flag disappeared after I completed the 1st new level (14736). No incentive to complete the episode, will wait for one week, prefer to play for gold bars.

Star Tournament levels update I tested with Star Tournament levels. Yes, x30 multiplier applies. Did 6 ST levels, credited with 36720 blue candies. An added pleasant surprise: win streak starting boosters and +3 moves appeared. These surely help. Chances of having a starting board with CB/CB are there. Although all theseβ¦

Wasn't going to play on my own account, with limited new levels. But I played to test on Episode/Champions Race, and unintentionally got myself on the Qualifier leaderboard.

Update Thanks to @Arrowflinger , the Champion Race returned while I was playing the last episode of last week's release.
