@Edie I have 30 moves in my device and I think it's a bug due to which only 12 moves are appearing in your device. If you don't have any accumulated boosters than you can uninstall the game and reinstall. This should solve your issue.

@Storm They don't serve any purpose. Just another feature / get-up of the regular characters. If they had additional powers than the levels could be cleared far easily.

@cec I think your dad's fingers must be accidentally touching the "back" button on his device which happens to me also sometimes. You can ask him to hold it a little above. All the best. 

@Dianne_Blais I think your problem is with Candy Crush Saga which has a different community. This community handles issues related to Candy Crush Friends Saga game.
