Hard to get new stars

Why do you guys add levels then the next day a star event? I have beat every level with 3 stars and have to go back over 130 levels to get any stars

It really is tough. I cleared everything at 3 stars up to level 133 and then got the get stars event. 

Of course all the levels were harder now and I failed more than won and never collected enough stars.
