Tiffi and Jean-Luc are looking in all directions to see if they can find the prankster. It doesn’t take the two of them too long before they see something very strange ahead of them.
“What are those rocks over there with writing on them?” asks Jean-Luc.
Tiffi gets up closer and it appears to be another prank. One rock says, “Turn me over” and when she turns it over the other side says, “You just took orders from a rock”. What? It might be another prank.
They hear some rustling behind the tree so they both take a closer look. Lo and behold what do they see? It’s impossible! How can that character look so much like Jean-Luc. He is even dressed the same.
“Who are you,” questions Tiffi. Are you the character that has been playing pranks on my friends? What’s your name? How did you get here? Why do you look like an identical twin of my friend Jean-Luc?”
“My … my name is Philippe. A long time ago I was this nutcracker toy soldier. This little boy loved me so much and on Christmas Eve every year he would play with me. He gave me my name, Philippe. He loved me so much but one day he was all grown up and didn’t play with me anymore and that made me sad. On the last day that I spent with him he told me that his mother was packing up all his toys and she was going to donate them to charity. He cried so much and begged her not to take his Phillippe. She put me in a box with the other toys and the next day she was going to drop all of us off at the church. This little boy took me out of the toy box and told me that there was this town called Candy Town and it was magical. The weather was reporting a rainstorm and he had heard if a lightning bolt shone in his room it could magically spin him around and lift him off the toy shelf. Then he would fall into the Candy Kingdom. He would then be changed from a regular toy soldier to a real character.”
Jean-Luc doubts what this character who looks like him is saying. How could he have the same past as him? Tiffi turns to Jean-Luc and tells him that she thinks Philippe can be his identical twin. She needs to absorb all of this so she asks Philippe if he would like to come back to her house and they can talk more.
