Issues after update

Hi

I've lost quite a few features since the latest update. There's no daily challenges where you collect say 100 purple candies. When I open the app it doesn't register the fact I've played over 250 days in a row. Theres no bonuses and my gold bars have disappeared. The same board loads everytime I fail a level (candies in the same position etc). Itsays there's a connection error everytime I try to log in and my profile pic is a wee green man.

    U seem to be having internet connection issue ... can check how fast is ur connection on data n wifi ?

    restart ur phone n try ...

    due to this covid19 situation, as more n more ppl stay at home n thus with an increased of ppl using internet... the speed invariably drop...

    my data speed drop a lot ... but luckily my wifi is still fast enough ...

    My wifi signal is good and I have 4g on tap for playing. I've tried to play it just now and it has the orange candies with misty bonus sitting at 125/250 but that was from days ago. I have no issues with other games I'm playing.

    Hello @pammiep and welcome to our friendly community. I also noticed a brief hiccup in the game last evening where I first showed that I finished a quest from the previous day before it took me to the correct day's challenge. You may have good WiFi, but the King servers may be having hiccups due to the large increase in demand worldwide.

    Are you seeing the daily quests now? I suggest you reboot your device and hopefully you will be back on track with the game again. If you are still having problems - please let us know, but be aware that most of the studio staff will be on a four day Easter break (Fri-Mon) so their response times will be much slower. But we here in the community will try and assist as much as we can.

    It must be the servers. I dont get any quests or daily bonuses and expect my progress has been lost which is a shame because I was hoping to make a whole year without missing a day. I still cant login to my profile. I've turned my phone off and on to reset it but nothing changes.

    Hello @pammiep

    Have you tried logging out of the game, then going to the manage apps in settings and clearing the cache, then going to your app store and looking for a new update? Clearing the cache helps for me.

    I've tried everything I can think of and it's still not working. No daily quests, boards not resetting, no daily tally or bonus. The only thing that works is the spring game. Really disappointing after playing for nearly a year without missing a day.
