Welcome to another 'Analysis, Theories and facts about our favorite Candy Crush Characters' with me, the one and only game expert of your heart, Sofia.
Let's start with this question:
'What exactly is pink, it lives in the sea and has 8 tentacles' (mmm...did I say 8 tentacles? Oh well, 5 tentacles at all.) ? I will leave you few minutes to think it.

..... Exactly! You've got this. It's Olivia!
Personality and Appearance:
Olivia is a pink octopus with 5 tentacles (why she has 5 tentacles since she is an octopus, well..I don't really know why) and she wears a sailor hat. Olivia loves adventures under the sea alot and she loves to explore the marine life (and as hobby and as job cause she is a marine biologist). She is adventurous and very tough and at the same time, a great multitasker, ready to help everyone and do everything at the same time. She likes bracelets from shells that she collects in the sea and her morning routine involves a spin in the washing machine (maybe because she makes her own exercise with her own way) .
Now about her backstory and facts about Olivia, well, let's take a look in Candy Crush Saga and in the episode Wafer Wharf (Levels 126-140) .
In that episode, Tiffi met Olivia for first time and Olivia was very sad cause her submarine was broken (which she calls "Octoboat"). After completing level 140, Tiffi fixes the hole in the Olivia's submarine by placing a patch of bubblegum over it and Olivia then cheers, "Hurray for bubblegum!".
In CCS, Olivia appears in most water levels like Spinkle Sea (levels 1731-1745) , Research Reef (levels 2091-2105) , Truffle Trench (levels 2556-2570) , Minty Marina (levels 4026-4040) , Rainbow Reef (levels 5676-5690) and In Dreamworld episode Sprakle Submarino (levels 126-140) .
Also, Olivia's tentacles are tangled up twice in Spinkle Sea (levels 1731-1745) and in Rainbow Reef (levels 5676-5690) but Tiffi showed up and helped her disentangle.
Olivia also loves to cook and she loves especially to cook delicious dish to lift everyone's spirits and especially in Snack Shack (levels 1176-1190) where she cooks some snacks for Tiffi.
And she is a natural-born musician, singer and comedienne and she loves to song and plays even instruments like in Harmony Hills (levels 5046-5060) where she puts on a musical production.
Also, in episode Research Reef (levels 2091-2105) , she has a fear on sharks. She wanted to study them, but she is afraid to take a look at the drawn shark closely. Tiffi gives her a shark hat, so she can blend in safely.
And finally, there are two episodes with Olivia which are the hardest ones in the game and those two episodes are Truffle Trench (levels 2556-2570) and Minty Marina (levels 4026-4040).
These two episodes are currently extremely hard - nearly impossible to beat without boosters (or even with boosters) and this is probably caused by a design error or glitch or a buff or an episode which requires very - extreme insane luck to complete.
In Candy Crush Friends Saga, Olivia has a very different role. Swimming under the sea, Olivia noticed some jelly Octopus which are trapped in jelly and Olivia is here to save them all.
In order to get her since she is a limited character in this game, you must get her from a very special event which is called 'Octopus Challenge' and her map is Olivia's Enclave. You must collect 450 stickers in order to get her and this event was released on April 15, 2019 until April 29, 2019 and came back from March 3, 2020 until April 3, 2020.
The event is in two parts. The first part includes ten special levels while the second part includes a star chaser event which you must collect 30 stars in order to get her.
Her skill is that when the player collects 12 purple candies, Olivia will hit 3 random gummy squares, taking out 2 layers. She will always target gummy squares with octopus over those without. If there is no gummy, Olivia will remove other blockers and then random candies.
Olivia appears only in 'Free the Octopus' Levels and she is the master on this kind of levels and despite the heavy restriction, her precised targeting over octopus is powerful. It is very common to see fake gummy squares (those without octopus) popping after she frees every other octopus. However, her ability is quite heavy, comparing to Odus who only needs 8. So she is powerful !

Hello dear Sofia!
I don't read anything because it's too much for me. But I have an opinion about Olivia and I can answer that well without your text. I like them and I love to take them. It is really helpful. Not in every game, you have to think about it after the first game. But I'm still glad that I have it.

@Sofia1992 I love your tribute thanks for tagging me, I must say I never knew all the Candy Crush part of the story, well done sweet Sofia. @mysticalmysty wow I love the video clip how do I miss these things? ❤️ I do wonder if maybe the studio could tell us why Olivia only has 5 tentacles as there must be some technical reason surely?
