The story of Licorise and Straberry

Once upon a time in the Candy Kingdom we meet up with Tiffi. Everyone already knows her background so let’s begin the story.  

One day, just outside the Barking Boutique Tiffi sees this cute little black cat who looks very unhappy. She asks the cat why she looks so sad. 

“My tail has unraveled,” says the cat.  

Tiffi to the rescue!   She rolls the cat's tail to form a liquorice roll. 

“That’s much better,” Tiffi says. I’ve never seen you here before. What’s your name?” 

The cat purrs and shrugs her shoulders. Tiffi realizes that maybe she’s a feral cat and no one ever gave her a name. 

“How about I call you Licorise?” Tiffi says. “Since you now have a rolled tail that resembles liquorice. How does that name sound to you?” 

The black cat’s face lights up because no one ever cared enough about her to give her a name. She’s been living on the streets and has no clue where her mother is. One day she just upped and left her little kitties to fend for themselves. Ever since then, she’s been roaming the streets and always has to look for food. Sometimes she would sit on the front porch of some houses with the hope that the owner would take care of her. Many times, when the owners would see her sitting outside they would bring her some cat food and water. Sometimes the owners would shoo her away for whatever reason. 

Tiffi pets the cat and wants to take her home. She is sure that her father wouldn’t mind her brining home this cute little black cat even though they already 2 puppies. She begins to dial her father at the candy store when suddenly she starts to get a runny nose and itchy eyes. And then the sneezing begins. She stops dialing the phone number and realizes that she must be allergic to cats. Why else would all these symptoms start after she pet the cat?  

“I would love to take you home with me Licorise,” Tiffi says. “But I think I’m allergic to your cat dander.” 

Licorise understands and thanks Tiffi for rolling her tail. Maybe one day they will meet again.
