Plans are made for Father’s Day

Tiffi prepares dinner for her and her father and sets the table. Just in time! The front door opens and in walks Mr. Toffee! 

“I hope that you’re hungry Dad,” Tiffi says. “I made your favorite food. I spoke to Kimmy today and she was all upset with something that she did. She thought that I would be angry with her but how can I ever get angry with the sister that I love?”

Mr. Toffee gives hugs to their puppies and scratches their heads. Of course, now the puppies want some of their food. He sneaks a little of it to both of them when Tiffi’s back is turned. 

Tiffi’s phone rings just as they are finishing their dinner. Mr. Toffee waves to her to answer it and he will clean up the kitchen. As she walks out of the room she sees that it’s Jenny calling her back.

“Hi Jenny, thanks for calling back so quickly,” Tiffi says. “I have a lot to discuss with you regarding Father’s Day. First I want to let you know that I bumped into Chewy and when I talked to him about Father’s Day he had the biggest tears rolling down his face. He doesn’t know who his father is, or even who his mother is. He’s all alone. I hope that you don’t mind but I couldn’t let him spend the day by himself, so I asked him if he wanted to join us. He got so excited, so I hope it’s ok with you. “

Jenny reassures Tiffi that she is happy that he will be joining them.

“Tiffi, I wanted to let you know that I changed my mind about getting my uncle a puppy,” Jenny says. “I hope that you haven’t reached out to Fern yet. I am thinking about getting him a HUGE basket of chocolate instead.”

“Jenny I have another idea for you,” Tiffi says. I was thinking that maybe you, Kimmy and I could chip in together and give them money to plan a vacation together, just the two of them. Two best friends forever!”

Jenny loves the idea. The girls make their final plans and they are all going to spend the weekend together. Tiffi will contact Chewy and let him know what’s going on.
