Let’s sing some songs!

As usual, time goes fast and it’s dinner time. Rancid is in the mood to toast a hot dog and Chewy wants to toast some marshmallows. 

Yeti has fallen asleep. Oh no! Did he eat chocolate today? 

Rancid puts more wood on the fire and gets out the hot dogs and marshmallows. Chewy apologizes for making him pass out from the smell. He tells Rancid he couldn’t control it! Rancid gives him a look like, if looks could kill …………………… 

“Yeti, wake up!” Rancid says. “We’re cooking hot dogs so how many do you want?” 

After dinner, Rancid asks what they would like to do next. He suggests singing some campfire songs. Chewy and Yeti think that’s a good idea.

Chewy raises his hand motioning for Rancid to stop singing. He doesn’t like that song and requests something different.

 On top of spaghetti,

All covered with cheese,

I lost my poor meatball,

When somebody sneezed.

 

It rolled off the table,

And on to the floor,

And then my poor meatball,

Rolled out of the door.

Chewy shakes his head again. That’s it! Chewy has had enough of the singing. He doesn’t know if it’s the choice of songs or the fact that Rancid can’t carry a tune. It’s getting later so they decide to head on into their tents to sleep.

“See you guys in the morning,” Yeti says.
