Hi there Nanny and good day to you.
The box wont open may be due to loading issue. Please try the basic troubleshooting steps below.
- Log out from all games and close running apps
- Check your internet connection and make sure it's stable.
- Check for any game update. Please update if there is and make sure your device have sufficient memory/storage space to facilitate the update
- Restart your device
- Log back in as usual and continue to play

I am sorry to know that you were having an issue in your game!
Are you still having the issue OR was it resolved? If you are still having the issue of gift boxes not being opened -- can you please post back with few more details for below questions?
1) In which game you are having this issue?
2) Are you not receiving the Gifts from a special event OR the regular map?
3) Did you lose your Boosters by changing your device OR are they locked OR did they just disappear?
Can you please post back with answers for my above questions? So that, it will be easy for me to understand the issue and lend you proper assistance? Please post back your reply by typing in the comment box given below.
