Pan-Pan changes his mind

“Tiffi, can we stop here for a second,” says Pan-Pan. This box of crystals is getting heavy to carry.” 

Yeti volunteers to help carry the box. After all, he’s big and strong! Tiffi asks Pan-Pan what he thinks about the crystals helping him find a way to get back home. 

“Tiffi, I don’t know what to do,” Pan-Pan says. “You guys have been so nice to me so now I’m thinking that maybe I should just live in the Candy Kingdom with you. Maybe I could use the blue crystal to get some strength to walk back to the zoo to get Ling-Ling. I think she would love living here. Tiffi, I know that she will love you, and you too Yeti.” 

Wow, that’s a change of events. Tiffi doesn’t know what to say. It would really be cool to have panda bears living in Candy Town. But what if Pan-Pan starts missing his parents again? 

“Wow Pan-Pan, you surprised me,” Tiffi says. “I thought that you’d be so happy to use the white crystal to take you back to China. It would be neat to meet your twin sister. But it’s your choice to make. What if you start missing your parents again? Are you sure that you don’t want to go back to China?” 

Pan-Pan tells Tiffi and Yeti that ever since he met both of them the idea of staying here entered his mind. The idea of living here is getting stronger and stronger.  He doesn’t think he’ll be happy going back to China anymore. He tells Tiffi that he is going to head back towards the zoo to talk to his sister. He will carry the blue crystal with him if he needs the strength to get back here.
