The girls speak to the Word Genie

The girls are on the way to find the word genie. 

“I remember hearing about the Word Genie from one of Barney’s friends,” says Betty. “His friend was writing a letter to the love of his life and he couldn’t find the correct words to put into the message. He contacted the Word Genie who helped him and they are now Mr. and Mrs. Mouse. So, I hope that he can help us too.”

When they finally meet up with him, he’s busy writing some new words down in his book. 

“Hi Mr. Word Genie,” says Betty. “My friends could sure use your help. Elsa is a writer and she loves to write short stories about some of the candy crush characters but when she turned on her laptop yesterday suddenly words were popping up in her document. She didn’t type them. They just showed up. We showed the laptop to my grandfather and Elsa rebooted the computer and opened up a new document and the words kept popping up and it wouldn’t stop. She had to close the document but my grandfather noticed that some of the words popping up were words that disappeared from his Encyclopedia of Everything  book. Can you please help us?” 

The Word Genie really has no clue why the words are disappearing from a book and then popping up in a document.  He tells the girls that he can definitely help them! He knows that his magic can return the words to the book and once they are back in the book they shouldn’t be popping up on a computer anymore.

Betty’s phone is ringing and it’s her grandfather calling her. He asks her if she took his book because he can’t find it anywhere.  

“No, I haven’t seen your book,” Betty says.  “Girls did you see where my grandfather put his book? No grandfather, the girls haven’t seen your book either. We’re with the Word Genie now and he said that he could put those words back into your book. But where did you leave your book?” 

Professor Alpha cannot remember putting it down. The girls will have to head on back to help him find it.
