The twins meet their first teacher

They find their classroom and take their seats. Philippe gets very jittery and he really doesn’t want to be there. He could be at home playing video games but he loves his brother so he will have to make do with the situation. 

The teacher walks into the classroom and introduces herself.

“Good morning students,” she says. “My name is Ms Jones and I am going to be your homeroom teacher. I will also be teaching you English. Before you head off to your first class I would like to take your attendance.” 

She calls out all the names and they reply. Then she looks up and realizes that she has a set of identical twins in the class. She sure hopes that they won’t be a problem. She has heard from other teachers saying that sometimes they like to prank the teacher by switching. 

The school bell rings to let the students know that it’s time to head on over to their first class. Before walking out of the classroom Philippe goes up to Ms Jones and gives her the lollipop. 

“I heard that it’s a tradition to give your teacher an apple on the first day of class,” says Phillippe. “But you will get to know that I don’t do the traditional thing.” 

The teacher is very impressed and thanks him very much. Now the twins head out to their next class.
