Dear old golden rule days
Reading and writing' and rithmetic
Taught to the tune of the hickory stick
You were my queen in calico
I was your bashful barefoot beau
And you wrote on my slate, "I love you, Joe"
When we were a couple of kids

The twins are up bright and early on the first day of school. Jean-Luc is very excited; however, Philippe is not sure why he agreed to do this. They quickly get dressed and eat breakfast. They don’t want to be late or miss the bus.
Chewy is outside as they begin walking to the school bus stop.
“Hey, hey, hey, what have you got to say?” asks Chewy.
Chewy sees the school bus approaching and then slowing down.
“Are you guys going to school?” Chewy asks them. “Jean-Luc what’s going on? When did you decide to go to school?”
The school bus stops and they wave to Chewy. Jean-Luc tells Chewy that he will explain everything later when they get home. Off to school they go!!
