Our story begins …….
With a toy soldier who falls into the Candy Kingdom as a regular toy soldier but quickly comes to life by the imagination, love, and magic that characterizes the Kingdom. His name is Jean-Luc and he becomes very good friends with Tiffi after she helps him fix his broken jaw. They find out that they have a lot in common. Both of them enjoy helping others and he does so with great finesse. Little does he know that he has an identical twin who falls into the Candy Kingdom the same way that he did. However, his twin brother, Philippe, is a prankster! But they do get along very well and you can learn all about them by reading The story of Jean-Luc.
They settle into the kingdom and Tiffi introduces them to all her friends. Shortly after moving in, Chewy moves into a house on the same street with his father, King Arthur. You might want to read the story of how Chewy found his father. They are so happy to have found each other and they all become very good friends.
One day the twins decide that they want to go to school, well Jean-Luc decides but Philippe is hesitant. He doesn’t want to give up his freedom.
They make an appointment to speak with the principal. The principal asks them if they would like to be in the same class together or to be separated. They never considered any reason not to be together, but the principal explains the differences.
‘Even before birth, twins are together in the same environment. Then they spend the first few years of their lives together, surrounded by the same people, sharing their environment and surroundings and living the same experiences. It is simply what they expect and are accustomed to. With the same teacher and classmates, they enjoy a consistent education experience, learning the same thing at the same time. The relationship between twins is complicated. As individuals, they may look similar, yet their personalities are very different. Where one is stronger, the other may be weaker. They may alternate between relying on and resisting each other. Sometimes, especially when they are younger, one may simply need the other. In the absence of one, the other may flounder. In many cases, this dynamic will change and evolve as the twins develop and mature as individuals.’ (Info here)
They choose to remain in the same class. Arrangements are completed and they are told when school will begin.
