That is quiet strange. So in my opinion you should contact to player support directly from the settings of your game application. And tell them the issue. I hope they will look into your game and hopefully you will be refunded the gold bars.

I also got those emails but I delete them since they are fake
my thought is this; if I don't really have 50 gold bars to use.... then why emailing me saying such?.. waste of space in my inbox
You don't happen to have the game installed and connected to a different email?
Regardless, we will pass this on to the team in charge and see if this has been sent by mistake so please feel free to ignore future emails regarding the same, hopefully this will stop soon.

I have game installed via android and Microsoft and play it through either platform and only have one email address used on facebook and king.com. thank you, support has messaged me back
What was the verdict? I am experiencing the same thing. So far, I've only been sent links to a help FAQ and to join this community.
I have same problem too it's the second email I receive, and I only have 2 gold bars
