But before they leave Bamboo Forrest a baby pig walks over to them.
“Where are you going,” asks Squiggle. “Can I go with you? My name is Squiggle.”
The young turkeys introduce themselves to their new friend.
“My name is Tom and this is my sister Bertha,” says Tom. “We are going to look for some paper so that we can write a note to convince everyone not to eat turkey for Thanksgiving.”
“And, they shouldn’t eat ham either,” says Squiggle.
They walk into town and pass by Mr. Toffee’s store. They don’t see anyone that they can ask for something to write on. This is turning into an impossible search.
“What are we going to do if we can’t find something to write on?” asks Bertha.
Tom tells his sister not to worry. Something will turn up.
