Not too long ago, Santa, the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny got together in Bamboo Forrest to discuss what they could do to help adults get back their childhood imagination and make believe.
Tiffi and Elsa bumped into them and much to their surprise they also saw the elf on a shelf who reported back to Santa every day if the children in the home were naughty or nice. Much to their surprise they also saw Cupid and a Leprechaun?
Tiffi who is 8 years old still believes in all of them but what about Elsa who is an adult? She Is having difficulty trying to relate to Tiffi’s youth and her mindset. She wants to believe in them so badly but she can’t just start playing make believe. Everyone would tell her to stop acting childish. Oh how she wishes she could become childlike again. She reminds Tiffi what the storyteller had told her.
“Children are beautiful because they possess something that we have all lost – the quality of innocence,” says our storyteller. “The gap between innocence and experience is endlessly explored. Haven’t some of you felt in exile ever since childhood – not as a result of some traumatic experience, but the simple, slow dimmer switch of time passing and imagination coarsening?”
