The sun was up, its light rays hitting Tiffi's face as she woke up and stretched her arms and legs. She looked out her window and saw that it was snowing once again. The scene was alluring to her eyes. Watching the snow fall was just fascinating. She had an open mouth expression as she kept staring at the snowy world outside, until Mr. Toffee called her down.
"Tiffi sweetheart! Come look at the tree!" She perked up at his words. Without even bothering to change, she just ran down the stairs and saw there was a whole bunch of presents under the tree. An intriguing glimpse had the young girl in delight. She looked around at all the presents that belong to her and Mr. Toffee. There were lots of boxes, as well as bags with their names on it. She looked at her father and he smiled and nodded. Unable to resist the urge to rip those presents open, she went ahead and opened every single one with her name on it. She grew happy with what she got each time.
"Look Daddy! I got a huge lollipop!" She exclaimed after looking inside a bag and taking off the tissue paper. Below it are some tiny little candy canes. "Hehehe and I got these little candy canes! They are so cute!"
"Haha yes they are sweetie. Open the rest!" Her father commented.
Tiffi found another bag and quickly opened it, revealing a pink dress with a crown and a pair of shoes. "Wow, a princess dress! So beautiful! I'm gonna wear this in front of the players!" She kept opening every box that belonged to her and got lots of stuff - a small mirror, an adventure backpack, a miniature pastry oven, winter boots, a dollhouse, a cute rainbow bow, and even a fancy camera!
The little blonde was satisfied with everything she got. She felt a bit sad that she didn't get everything on her wish list, especially that pet hamster. She really wanted a hamster so badly. She thought they were super cute and fun to have them live with her in her home. Maybe she'll get one another day.
"It looks like you still got one more left" Mr. Toffee pointed to a small, golden box with a golden bow on top. She saw it and ripped off the wrapping paper, unveiling a white box. She was curious of what was inside. The cover was opened and she widened her eyes in amazement.
In her hands was a snow globe with Santa and all nine of his reindeer flying over a few houses. She shook it and the snow flew all around and went down slowly. What she didn't notice was that one of the houses was actually her own house in the middle of her neighbors' houses. In the sleigh, there were two familiar figures sitting together and Tiffi immediately recognized them as herself and her dear love Nutcracker. She was kinda shocked at this - how could Santa possibly know that she and Nutcracker were going to meet him together? Well, he was watching them all year and knew that she would feel the most happiness around the cute, brave little Christmas soldier. He sent this gift to her as a token of his appreciation.
"That is a remarkable looking snow globe you got!" Her father complimented. "You should thank Santa for giving you all this!"
Tiffi was still surprised and continued to observe the snow globe, shaking it. She then looked up and thought of everything she did all year long. She was a happy, sensitive girl who was amiable and always seeking out for a new adventure with her friends. It has been a wonderful year filled with laughs, cries, and lots and lots of love. She made lots of good memories and a few dim ones. She was happy with her life here in the Candy Kingdom.
"Thank you Santa" she said. "Merry Christmas and happy New Year! I'm so happy I met you, maybe I can see you again?" She mumbled the last part, a smile growing on her face.
"Come on now, let's go eat some breakfast" Mr. Toffee said, and Tiffi raced to the kitchen to enjoy some delicious gingerbread pancakes her father made.
Christmas was the time for giving and making the most out of the holiday season. It continued to mark as an important date for people in the entire Candy Kingdom to get together with their families and share their best wishes for the season. Children were bursting with glee as they kept believing more and more in the great Santa Claus and enjoyed the wonderful rewards he had brought to them for their positive behavior. This kind of feeling would never fade away as the time passed by in their faithful world with no way to stop or turn back.
