Tiffi calls her friends

A couple of hours later Elsa calls Tiffi back to discuss all the information that Tiffi sent her.

“Hi Tiffi,” says Elsa. “I looked at everything that you sent me for the story and, as usual, you have done a great job of gathering articles. As far as where to have it I think that Zoom might be the best choice.  I love the idea of everyone having a virtual background. A talent show might be great! Chewy can be the stand-up comedian again and I can look for New Year’s Eve jokes for him. Here is another great idea from one of the articles – trivia! How about trivia regarding the candy crush games? We can figure that out at another time.  If you have time now, make some phone calls to find out who is interested in joining us on Zoom. See if Rancid would be interested in hosting it. He was really great at the talent shows so it would be great if he can volunteer to do that.” 

Tiffi is pleased to see that the story is coming together. Now it’s time to call her friends to find out who can make it. She already knows that her sister will join them because she is planning to stay here until after New Year’s. She creates a list of who she has to call: Jenny, Yeti, Red Rabbit, Rancid and Rachel, Chewy, Jean-Luc and Philippe, Olivia, Jelly Queen, Dachs, Odus and Misty.

“Hi Jenny, how are you doing today?” asks Tiffi. “Elsa and I are making New Year’s Eve plans and I am co-authoring the story with her.  It’s going to be a virtual New Year’s Eve party and we will probably be using Zoom. We might also be doing a talent show so please ask your uncle if he’d like to participate in it.  Elsa and I came across some good ideas for the evening. Chewy will most probably want to do his comedy thing again. But we found a trivia thing, a couple of brain teasers and also a hangman game that we can play.  

Jenny takes a moment to tell Yeti what Tiffi and Elsa are planning for New Year’s Eve. They are thinking of possibly doing a talent show and she wants to know if you would want to do something. Jenny is not sure if she wants to get involved with talent so she will have to get back to her. Tiffi tells Jenny that she will call Yeti later to discuss what he would like to do.
