Event glitch what should I do? Is it just me?

The events game in candy crush friends seems to be glitching. Part of the game would be black and you cannot see what is on that side. And it sometimes shuts down the game. I have shut down the game,uninstall and reinstall and even restarted my phone. What should i do?

@lillyroseprince Try clearing the cache from the app store and then restart your device and see if this resolves your issue
