The party is still on- weβre not done celebrating the fabulous level 4000!Β
Today weβve got a surprise for you: weβve spoken to the Candy Crush Friends level designer team in the Studio and here are some of their comments about the level and what it means to them.
Community: Hello team! Thanks for joining our party here in the Community. Let's start with the first question: Whoβs designed this level 4000?Β
Team: Level 4000 was a collaborative effort between the 4 designers on Candy Crush Friends.Β Each of the 4 level designers on the team designed one of the 4 numbers that make the level. Collaboration at its best!
Community: Please tell us a bit more about yourselves- we'd love to get you know better!
Jordan: I like to experiment with using board structures in new and interesting ways, and I'm very enthusiastic about making new blockers and game elements to play with, including the most recent addition, the Strawberry Twist! I joined the CCFS Family in January 2020 after moving to London from Dundee, Scotland. I enjoy having the friendly, colorful Champions there to help out and cheer the player on. It wouldn't be Candy Crush Friend without the power of friendship on your side!
Anton: I've worked on both Candy Crush Friends and Candy Crush Saga, and love experimenting with new blockers and features. I helped design the special candies that Bubblegum Troll and Rachel the Raccoon throw out on the game board! I've worked on Friends for a bit more than a year, and I really enjoy the level of polish and craftsmanship that goes into every aspect of Candy Crush Friends. Working with such a dedicated and wonderful team makes even the toughest of challenges fun to face, goes we do it together.
Julien: I originally worked on Farm Heroes Saga and I'm known for making brain-bending puzzles in my levels. If you're stuck on a hard one chances are I am to blame π. I joined the Friends team a year and a half ago when the game found its new home in our London studio and I'm hoping to stay here for a while. My favourite thing about Candy Crush Friends is the sweet feeling of combining a Colouring Candy and a Colour Bomb and blast everything on the board with it. It only happened to me 4 times since I started working on the game and I canβt wait for the 5th!
Verena: I've worked on Farm Heroes Saga and love to create levels with distinct board shape. I've helped design the Sweet Streak feature where you can earn Special Candies for beating levels without losing lives. I joined the Friends team in the Summer of 2019, and I really enjoy playing the time-limited event to collect the different exclusive and colourful costumes for our friendly Champions!Β The upcoming event will be the Level 4000 event and the Chinese New Year event - Don't miss out the chance to get enormous rewards and Tiffi the Ox!
Community: What is special about this level; how would you describe it? Who came up with the idea, and how?
Team: The level was designed as a celebration for our players who managed to reach such an important milestone. We wanted to celebrate our latest blocker, the Strawberry Twist in an explosive and rewarding setting.
Community: What does this milestone mean to the team?Β
Team: In 2019, Candy Crush Friends found a new home and a new team in our London studio. This team has really come together since then, and this milestone really is a testimony to the passion and care that the team gives the game on a daily basis.Β
Community: What can players expect from CCFS in the future?Β
Team: The team is dedicated and focused on bringing new fresh and exciting features to the game, and keep delivering moments of magic to you every day.

Hi @Lola_Pop and to the πCCFS π designer team.
Thank you for the interesting interview and I can't wait to preview level 4,000 in the upcoming event. I absolutely love these levels and will be looking for that hard board that Julien created. Currently I am on level 2917, so it will be a little while before I get to play level 4,000 again.
CCFS has been my game of choice, only just recently I decided it was time to explore another one and that is PRS. I love everything about CCFS, even the challenging levels, from new characters, costumes and even blockers like the Strawberry Twist that Jordan made. I too get a kick out of making color bombs and coloring candy balls and when you can combine a combo of the two for that Atomic blast, there's nothing like it. π€ New elements and different board shapes introduced into the game also keep the game fresh and interesting, like BGT & Rachel's special abilities that Anton worked on & Verena sounds like the perfect candidate to have been part of the designing team for level 4,000.
I also love getting new costumes, BTW...will Rachel ever be getting a new one?...Or Jelly Queen? One suggestion also, have any of you considered a new booster? And two requests... sorry guys but while I have you...π§ 1.A way to move around the map without having to scroll, 2. A confirmation button when spending gold bars. Neither of these are my original ideas, they have been thoughts and ideas that I have voted on from other players. Thanks again for sharing with us and will be thinking of you when I play level 4,000. π
