Tiffi finds a definition of haiku.
‘Haiku, unrhymed poetic form consisting of 17 syllables arranged in three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively. The haiku first emerged in Japanese literature during the 17th century, as a terse reaction to elaborate poetic traditions, though it did not become known by the name haiku until the 19th century.’ (Source)
She has to look for a picture because she really doesn’t understand it.
Tiffi is even more confused after finding more articles. She calls Elsa to find out if she can look it up and let her know what that type of poetry is all about.
“Hi Elsa, I started googling for party ideas,” Tiffi says. “I found something about Haiku poetry but have no clue what it is. Would you mind looking it up and letting me know if it’s something that we can do during the party.”
Elsa promises to check it out. She tells Tiffi that she has gathered the names of everyone who will be attending and put them in groups to look up things. She tells Tiffi that she try to find out more about that poetry. She will ask the first group that she has to call to google it and hopefully they will get a better understanding of it. She promised to get back to her if it’s something good to plan for the party.
Hugs and kisses, goodbye.
Elsa gets on the phone with her first group, @PrettyBubbles, Rachel and Olivia. She suggests that they look up Haiku poetry to see if it’s something that would be good for the party. Once they get a better understanding of what it is they can determine if it doable for the party.
