Playing CCF Sage on a Win 10 laptop build 19042. When I try to join a team, app crashes.

Don’t worry, resetting the app usually fixes most issues.

• Click on the Windows icon down to the left on your PC.
• Choose ‘Settings’, the icon that looks like a cogwheel.
• Go to ‘Apps’, then to ‘Apps & features’.
• Find the game you have issues with and go to ‘Advanced options’.
• Click on ‘Reset’.

Still not working? Then a complete reinstall of the app is probably needed.

• Again go to ‘Settings’ and find the game under ‘Apps & features’.
• Instead of choosing ‘Advanced options’ click on the Uninstall button.
• Restart the computer.
• Finally, download the game again from Microsoft Store.

Please be aware that when you reset or reinstall the game all in-game items like boosters and lives will be lost. Your progress and gold bars can always be restored by reconnecting the game to your Facebook or King account.

@kunde16 Hi and welcome, I have not got this feature in my game yet but i know on other king games it tries to open up a separate page. So if you have an ad blocker / pop up blocker it can cause this to happen.

Not sure if this is the same or not but may be worth a try

Diamond Lim: The warning about losing cookies due to reset COULD have been closer to the instructions. Now, how do I launch the game from my account so as to restore my boosters?

If you've reinstalled the Windows 10 app, your boosters could be lost. I recently reinstalled the app and mine weren't restored, even though I backed up my game with Facebook. With Candy Crush Saga it works fine. Unfortunately not with CC Friends saga.

I don't have this event either. It is very new and should therefore be treated with caution. An ad blocker is always a hindrance.
