I also needed a lot of tries. Chance helped me. Suddenly it worked. Now I'm stuck at level 7. And the rewards are less than I expected.

After much effort (and a few lollipops), I finally completed the Hazelnut Crunch Event. I probably only broke even on the rewards and didn’t get a new character or costume so I’m not sure it was worth it from a rewards standpoint. Some of those levels were really hard and I lost a bunch of lives to finally get through.

There is a Star Chaser event with Misty after completing the Hazelnut Crunch. Maybe the rewards for that will make the whole thing worthwhile.

Well, I completed the Star Chaser event with Misty and the rewards were underwhelming, not even one lollipop, maybe one-third of each lollipop worth of stickers and an extra life.

There is a Dunk the Cookies challenge after the Star Chaser. Maybe the rewards will be better? I don’t know since I’m stuck on a level and haven’t even gotten to do a single Dunk the Cookies level was yet!

You don't get the point. Only the worst events keep returning from time to time and this one is no exception. You don't even get any special skin by clearing these 11-layered crunch.

Yes @AkumaXX yes, I have seen in the other discussions that some players have used Lollis and the rewards were below expectations. @Lola_Pop shared the link earlier. There you can see what some players have received in terms of rewards.
