Events button and collecting stickers for characters to be unlocked

So my events button has disappeared... doesn't show up anymore at the bottom of the screen... also the game is not giving me any kind of stickers to collect friends anymore this has been going on for like 3 days now can someone please help me out and help me figure out how to fix this and take care of the problem it would be much appreciated. I play candy crush friends saga every day and this has become very annoying... please and thank you hope to hear back from someone soon... have a great day...

@JLHartsock Hi and welcome, all you can do is keep you game up to date and log out and restart your device and log back in, This will ensure you are getting the features available to you. Only other option would to uninstall and reinstall the app but you would LOSE any stored BOOSTERS and LIVES. The Features in the game are given to randomly selected people so you are not guaranteed to get all Features all the time.

When you ask about stickers for Costumes have you got characters that still need stickers collecting for. As again if you dont you will only get a new character when a feature is released and you are not guarenteed to get this also. I have not had new character for around 2 months and was not in the group for the last Costume, So again you need to be lucky enough to be in the randomly selected group

Here is a screen shot of my characters the bubblegum troll is still in need of a few hundred stickers and i have one character it says that needs to be unlocked.

@JLHartsock Hi Again,

Guessing the bubble gum troll was an event and you did not complete this on time as do not think there is a Troll costume event running at this time.

The other that needs to be unlocked always shows on my game and Only opens up when a new costume event is on that i have been selected to play.
