We continue now following Jean-Luc’s time travel to the ancient world.

Home at last! He’s exhausted but really happy that he travelled through time and learned all that history. But wait a second …………… did he learn the historical truth? He will have to talk to Tiffi about that.

When he gets home he calls out to Philippe that he’s home but gets no answer. Guess his brother must have gone out. He takes a warm shower and then decides to find out more about history. First he needs to find a definition of what history is. He really believed the wizard that what he was told was the historical truth but are wizards real? Time to find out!

Just as he begins to read something online his phone rings.

“Hi Tiffi, what’s up?” asks Jean-Luc. “You’re not going to believe what happened to me this morning! Let’s get together so that I can fill you in on all the details.”

Plans are made, goodbyes are said and now it'

‘Most people's definition of history is fairly simple. It's "what-really-happened-in-the-past." But professional historians know that the reality of history is hardly so unproblematical. As many a policeman will assert who has tried to determine from several eyewitnesses' reports exactly what happened in an accident, it's often difficult to piece together different people's versions of the "truth" and construct one coherent narrative on which everyone agrees. In fact, it's impossible. The same is true for history, which is a very messy business and, like all human enterprises, particularly susceptible to bias, self-righteousness, pride, vanity and, if not outright and intentional perversion of the truth, at least the subconscious obfuscation of some grimmer and grimier reality.’ (Source)
