I actually haven't spend any real money on the game. There are opportunities here in the community to win gold bars and they do a pot of gold event to win gold bars in the game around st Patrick's day (March 17). I've reached the end of the map (at least currently). Try saving all your lollipops and use them sparingly. Focus on the daily tastes to get prizes to get boosters and lollipops to have an easier time to beat them.
