Active boosters are not working

The active boosters are not working and I’ve wasted over 50 gold bars to pass a level! I’d like a refund

What level is this? Maybe we can give you some tips. 

Also, I need some information from you on why active boosters don't work properly. Which boosters are these and what do they not do?

The game is cheating. When a booster is activated for a character the character is not using the booster. Also, if you have the extra fish activated and you complete the task to activate that extra fish, if it was your last move it’s not allowing that fish to be used. But of course when I pay they extra 10 bars to continue the fish works and completes the level without utilizing any of the 5 moves purchased. Way not cool. You really should reimburse people for this stuff!
