I've had this happen when I've had boosters activated and by color changing it doesn't allow any moves. The board, without boosters, ads for a color bomb/ color changing candy should not do this. If you have any of the aforementioned it can create that issue.

@Laurenmlh yes it has happened when boosters are activated. However just now I had two games with no boosters activated and lost 2 lives.

Yeap, happens to me on & off specially on mobile & specially when playing the first move of a level right after opening the app after having received timed boosters.

It's happened to me a few times

Well, this is what happens to me at the end of a BWS level. I won the level but the game freezes and I have to leave app and enter again. I play on a lapotop and here is how it looks

This has not happened to me while playing but if it does am going to report it fast.

Yes I have had this happen a few times. Very frustrating when this happens i have to close out the app and reopen it makes me so mad especially if i have few moves left and about to win the level then have to close out the app and reopen. I've had it happen to me when getting timed boosters and then open the app back up and no timed boosters these games are very frustrating at times and sometimes a rip off when receiving boosters I've won boosters and then not get them I've had al kinds crazy things happen 🙄

Hi @dananelle my game used to freeze a lot back when I had ads but since they took my ads away my game does not freeze very often. It only freezes sometimes (but very rarely) when I have active colouring boosters. The colouring boosters colour the board twice (instead of once) then the game normally freezes after that. However, sometimes the board is coloured twice and it does not freeze. 🤷♀️

Hi @dananelle I have had a few issues like this, and other screen issues with colour, giving me no choice but to log out and back in again, the colour thing was really annoying as I had it for ages! Very frustrating when it costs lives and boosters! I hope it is sorted soon.

Yes I've contacted support 3 times about issue of receiving boosters then game freezes as I am about to beat level with one move left . Also , when I re-boot game the characters have changed so that I can't use the one I was winning with , pretty sneaky indeed !

Yes, this has happened to me, but not recently.
I play on a mobile and it usually happens when playing the first move of a level right after opening the app after having received timed boosters. Particularly those wonderful boards with 2 super boosters next to each other which would mean I would have been almost certain of beating the level!!

This was happening to me a lot with the timed boosters. Especially with Red Rabbit and Nutcracker 🤷🏻♀️
Also if you get a game with on 3 available squares open and you pick the character with the fish 🐠 it was game over. 🦋🐨🤗

@dananelle this has happened to me too. On several occasions and while playing different games. The screen goes black and then I have to turn off my phone. When I log back into my game I find all my collected and hard earned boosters are gone. I lost a 50+ win streak in ccs and a slew of boosters. Most recently my prs was affected

Hello Friends!
The Friends team ask for more information so that they can reproduce the issue and find a solution. Let me see if I get it right:
1.- You get timed Boosters as a reward: does it happen every time you get those timed Boosters, on every level? Does it depend on the Boosters you receive?
2.- You start a level (in the Saga map, right? No events?). Can you tell me an example of a level where this happens? Does it happen every time you play one specific level? Only sometimes?
3.- You play the first move and then it freezes? Does it freeze before you can do the first move? Does it crash? Is it a different experience for different players, or a different experience every time? (once it freezes and you have to shut the game down, once it crashes directly?) Does it happen when you replay a level that was already won? Which app version are you on?
4.- You do the troubleshooting. What steps? Do you do it every time it happens?
The team investigates different topics (crashes with a specific costume or friends, crashes on a specific device or version, levels that are designed in a way that can't be played with timed Boosters...), so it's very important we give them as much information about each different issue as we can. 😊
@dananelle , your player ID and the information about your device are very helpful, we've passed it on to the Studio (and thanks, @MountainMom , for the heads-up)
@rebelchild , @jeanps, and everybody who has experienced this same issue, the more information we get, the faster the team can find the problem and solve it ☺️

It happened on level 3784 and just then on level 3814
it usually happens with times boosters and not every time. It doesn’t depend on boosters or character rather the board and if there is limited first moves.
the video is very self explanatory and the One move thing will happen on these types of boards.
if I go to Same level with a different character it MIGHT not happen.

I've had this sort of thing happen more than once, it usually involves a free starting booster or timed boosters that come up and make it so that after a single move (or sometimes without even making a move as the result of the starting booster(s) interactions with what comes up), there is no rearrangement of the board possible that will allow anything more to be cleared and the level says 'no more possible moves' and ends. I had it happen earlier today, as a matter of fact, but usually I simply shrug it off.

You are absolutely right about one thing. Every time I've seen it happen, there is a very small number of free candies at the start of the board and the original 'setup' is done so that making a single switch move will clear blockers to allow candies to fall into this area so that more matches can be made(next to a single pop rock or a single string block or similar that only requires one match made beside it to 'break' or 'clear'. Usually the starting candy configuration allows a switch of three candies to form a single line against the blocker so that these are cleared, but if a starting booster changes one (say to a color bomb), even using the color bomb to clear the other two candies don't 'break' the blocker because it requires an actual match made beside it. The same thing happens if the candies that were set up to be switched to trigger the break are switched to fish, then switching the fish sends them randomly elsewhere on the board and no more can fall into the space.

Yes only ever when a very few free candies are at the start.
