Completing a Daily Quest of matching 1,000-1,400 Candies of a specific color

If one of your Daily Quests is just to match a LOT of candies of a certain color (helper not specified), the most efficient way to complete that Daily Quest is to find a previous level which has only 4 colors—including the specified candy color—and which has MULTIPLE SCREENS as I have found that on average FAR more candies are matched for the levels that have 2, 3, or 4 screens. So today I had to match 1,000 purple candies:
Checking my records, I found level 4334 had only cyan, purple, red, and yellow candies, and it is a 2-screen level. The first screen looks like this:
I chose Odus as my helper and cleared the first screen, which automatically shifted me to the second screen which looked like this:
The process of clearing the second screen was a lot of fun as you have to blast that central column of bubble-gum covered animals a LOT to get the gum to burst and then finally be able to free the animal underneath! But in the end I succeeded:
The point of this is that matching purple candies in a 4-candy color, multi-screen level gave me between 120 and 150 matched purple candies per life.( On average the 3 and 4-screen levels will produce slightly more matches of each candy color.) This makes it feasible to match 1,000-1,400 candies of a specific color with 5-10 lives, or less if you have sufficient boosters to win the levels as I had today. Hope this helps!

Today’s CCFS Daily Quests required matching 900 cyan candies with Yeti, so I backtracked to Level 4410, a 3-screen level offering Yeti and involving just 4candy colors: cyan, green, orange, and yellow.
After 2 lives, I had matched 385 cyan candies:
and after 4 lives I had matched 884, so Level 4410 matched about 221 cyan candies per life!
So backtracking to multi-level, 4-color levels of CCFS is one way to efficiently complete Daily Quests that require matching a lot of candies of a specific color.

If your Daily Quests require both that you match 1,000-1,400 candies of a specific color AND that you must make Color Bombs or Coloring Candies, then I think if is particularly important to find a multi-screen level that includes the required color but also has only 4 candy colors so that you have a better chance to make Color Bombs or Coloring Candies. For example this morning I had:
Checking my records, Level 4416 was a 3-screen level with only the 4 colors of Cyan, Orange, Purple, and Red. Plus, I noted that Tifi was sometimes offered as the “3rd choice” helper, so there was a decent chance that I could use Level 4416 to complete all 3 Daily Quests.
I started off using Misty to have the best chance of winning the level, and the results for each attempt were:
- Misty: 185 Cyan Candies, 0 Color Bombs, but I WON the level so no lives lost!
- Misty: 167 Cyan Candies, 1 Color Bomb, but I failed and lost a life.
- Misty: 245 Cyan Candies, 7 Color Bombs, and I WON again—> the “Create 8 Color Bombs” Daily Quest was completed.
- Tifi: 206 Cyan Candies, and I WON again—> the “Match 80 Red Candies with Tifi” Daily Quest was completed.
- Misty: 248 Cyan Candies, but I failed and lost a life.
- Misty: 220 Cyan Candies, and I WON, bringing the total to 1271 matched Cyan Candies.
- Completed the “Match 1400 Cyan Candies” Daily Quest with the next attempt, which brought the total to be above 1400. (The exact number of Cyan Candies matched on the last attempt is unknown because the algorithm stops counting whenever you reach the Daily Quest goal, but the average number of Cyan Candies matched in the first 6 attempts is about 212 per attempt.)
The point is that by choosing a multi-screen, 4-candy-color level, all 3 Daily Quests were completed with less than 4 lives lost. Completing all 3 Daily Quests gave enough credit to activate at least 1 “Friendly“ booster and also gave credit to obtaining more Lollipop Hammers. If anything is interested in use this strategy but has not recorded it, I am consolidating that precise information on the multi-screen levels from Level 3,000 to Level 4,400 and would be willing to share it.

@AkumaXX You are very observant! First, I strongly agree that the “Caramel Cup”, “Pop Rock”, Pink Liquorice-laced tiles(?), and “Mints” Daily Quests can be much more difficult, and I added those 4 special “candies” to my record form so I can at least attempt them, For those Daily Quests , there a a very few special levels that have a large number of one thing or the other, and if motivated enough, I will backtrack to those specific levels and spend the lives to to complete those quests. But that is really boring, so now I usually only do that to help my Dachs Delivery Service team get the “10 Quests” Team Task!
Second, the “race” special events do not motivate me personally at all because they are a “zero-sum game” , where the outcome is fixed and the only question is how it is divided among each set of players. To me, that is not really a “team” effort but rather a simple “winners take all” competition. Dachs Delivery Service, on the other hand, is a “non-zero-sum game” because by efficiently cooperating the total amount of awards that the team receives can be greatly increased. Also, I like that the distribution of the awards in DDS is exactly equal to all the players on a DDS team of 20 members. Some folks are new to the game, or are facing extremely difficult levels in their path, so they may not progress much, but if they try to help the DDS team as best they can, they deserve to share equally in the team rewards. I personally hope that the 30-minute boosters and the lollipop hammers help all of my team members advance. So for me, DDS is a HUGE multiplication of the collective benefits and a fair distribution of the benefits. So I concentrate on helping my “Uncle Bob” team do well. That is just my view, and I recognize that other CCFS players may enjoy the competitive aspects of the “race” events, although I suspect you are also NOT one of them.
