Dracula was based off of the many stories of Vlad the Impaler. Horrific stuff.
Well done and thank you for your sharing your favorite trivia, photo or story about vampires or bats! Happy World Dracula Day! Everyone! ๐ฆ๐งโโ๏ธ๐
The truth is that bats have always inspired some fear in me due to their appearance and how invasive they are when they establish their colonies in our houses. I really like to watch Dracula movies
Do you know how bats differ from vampires?
Of the more than 1,400 species of bats recorded in the world, only three feed on the blood of animals: the common one, the one with hairy legs and the one with white wings. According to the Humboldt Institute, there are multiple records of these vampires in Colombia and, apparently, they have a protein that could help treat vascular diseases.
Happy World Dracula day.
Hi @MountainMom
Thanks @Diamond_Lim
When Dracula was published, it was an unparalleled success. People flocked to buy the book. The true story has been forgotten. The story of the monster king "Vlad". It was replaced by the story "Dracula". Which became in the imagination of people that mythical creature that sticks its fangs into the necks of its victims to suck their blood.
..
When I was a kid I wanted to be a vampire!
Bela Lugosi was the first actor to play Count Dracula . " I Don't to bite your Neck"
*Hiss
@MountainMom thanks for this fun event. @Lola_Pop love the badge!
It is said that babies born between Christmas and the Epiphany were predisposed to becoming vampyres. There are 3 members of my immediate family born on December 28th.
