I finished the Star Chaser with the full number of stars, but only 550/600 points. As a result, I can't obtain JQ's costume. I used GB and boosters to complete the Star Chaser in order to obtain this costume.
When I think back, this has happened to me before in other events. Why is this happening? And how can I obtain the costume?
Whoa so sorry to hear that @CassD. I donβt suppose you took a picture showing you completed the star chaser and got all 30 stars? You need to contact player support. They should be able to help you out.
I know that sometimes with the calendar events if someone completed a level without releasing the prize for the level, they would then be short that amount of points for the outfit.
However you are only 50 points shy and if I remember correctly there were only 4 prizes (I think - I have already forgotten) on the side event and you got the remaining points needed when you collected 30 stars.
I donβt think any of the prizes were just 50 points so it definitely sounds like a glitch.
Hopefully player support can help you out.

Hi @bearwithme and thank you for your reply. At the time, I never thought to take a screenshot showing that I had passed the levels to complete the Star Chaser. I think it was just such a relief to finish it!
I did contact the CM at the time and I shall now do as you suggest and contact Player Support.
@CassD, I remember having the same issue with a different costume. When I was 100 points short, someone explained to me that I may have failed to collect all the hidden packages in the event levels. There typically are 3 levels with hidden packages (maybe 4 as @bearwithme recalled) that are worth points (typically 100 each) toward the costume. It is surprising to hear you were 50 points short -- I don't know how that could happen. I would be very interested to hear how your issue gets resolved.
Hi @MountainMom. Surely it is very misleading and unfair to allow someone to play the Star Chaser, when they have no hope of getting the costume because they might have missed something needed to gain points and there is no indication of this in the event itself? If I see a package within the game, I aim for it, and, if it's on the map, I usually click on it in any case just to make sure - and I don't want to waste GB and boosters for nothing.
π€ Hmmm... jiggle jiggle, wiggle wiggle, let's tag the CM in case she missed this one here β¬οΈ and the PMs you sent her @CassD. ‡οΈ

@CassD have you heard back from support? I have had many glitches and issues myself but found that it never ends well if you reset/ reinstall the game. I have learned the hard way and try to screen shot everything. @me6412 has been a great help to me with some of my issues. Has he weighed in on this?
@CassD Guess you haven't gotten a response as of now ? I myself had the same problem and I went back and seen that the game glitched me on level 4 of JQ and I had to replay it again even though I received 3 stars on the first time I played it...glitch wasn't my fault but I knew it would be an act of so many things to go through just to get a character and collect it...sad indeed but I did it... ! πππ―
Hello, @CassD , and hello, Friends!
First of all-I'm sorry I haven't given you an answer before, dear Cass. I was waiting to see if it was something more general to bring to the Friends team.
Why not give you the costume right away anyhow? Because that is an "emergency solution". The right thing to do is compile the cases and send them to the team, as that is the way they can fix things (they cannot find out why you don't have the costume if you do)
On the other hand, I have noticed that whenΒ we send players the costumes from our compensation tool as a gesture of goodwill, they start having more issues regarding costumes in general. So, as I said, it's the last resort.
I should have told you, and I'm sorry I didn't. π
So, all in all: feel free to contact me when you need anything; just take into account that CMs are usually very busy. For costume issues, it's best to contact Player Support directly. They can find the problem and have more resources to help you out in these cases. What @me6412 says about one of the levels having a glitch is quite interesting. Next time, please have a look at the event and see if you can find such a glitch- that will help not only you but everyone, as we can take that glitch to the Friends team, and they can solve it. π
Hi @Lola_Pop and all of my dear friends.
I only posted my question because I hadn't received a response and wasn't sure how to.proceed.
I contacted Player Support yesterday and am delighted to report that I now have the Jelly Queen Jubilee costume in my scrapbook.
Thank you to all of those who expressed their concern and gave advice.
Yay @CassD, I'm glad you got JQ's new costume.; we you worked so hard for it that it would have been a pity for you not to get it. π€© And props to the good people of Friends Support, they are good at the jiggle jiggle, wiggle wiggle. π
@Lola_Pop, call me overcautious, but I wouldn't be quick to assume that @CassD's issue with the JQ event wasn't part of 'something more general'. As you can see here & in other threads, quite a few players have had either the same issue she did or some other glitch within the event. β©οΈ I, as just one example, had the same issue that was reported here but since I only had the issue when playing on mobile I chose to just play the event on my PC where the issue had not shown up (same applies to quite a few players in the forum & in other forums). There are players who only use mobile to play who might have not had that option.
Awesome @rebelchild I remember Donkey Kong. Had many hand held games at that time, also remember the predecessors, mini arcade games like Astro Wars! Aaaah those where the days, Grandstand! I remember before that too, when the first games came outπ€£ Great fun π Oh my, how things have changed! π€
