What silly mistakes do you keep making while playing?

I have been playing Candy Crush Saga for years, this Friends edition since it came out, and recently started Soda. And guess what? I still seem to forget that I can move the licorice square blockers. I will lose rounds with them multiple times before I realize that “oh hey, I can swap this blocker with a candy...” and often it ends up with me passing the round.

However I feel like an idiot because not only did I waste 8 lives on that level, I also know deep down that it won’t be the last time I forget how a licorice blocker works. Grrrr.

Yet I was born with a heart of resilience, albeit with a head of cotton candy, so I just grin and keep on crushing.

Anyone else want to share a silly mistake? No judgment here (from me anyway). I am far from a perfect player by any measure but sometimes it feels good to admit the bounds of my mediocrity out loud.

Some time I was too focus on the strategy and forget to pay attention to the remaining moves counter. I often created a color bomb or coloring candy and then was surprise to find out that I was out of move. The other thing is that I have to be careful with my mouse on the Win10 version. The swapping action using the mouse often swapping the wrong candies.

P.S. I refuse to pay for extra moves and avoid to use booster unless it is automatically loaded, e.g. the 2 hrs friendly charge.

I play on my iPhone, and the way I hold the phone and use my right thumb while playing the games cause me accidentally using my lollipops hammers☹️

@mysticalmysty ugh, this one bugs me so much! I play on my iPhone too and I have wasted so many hammers the same way. I rarely use them strategically (probably another silly mistake of mine) so I should have an arsenal just waiting for me to use on a super hard level. Instead what happens is that I am lucky to have any wrapped lollipops at all, maybe a few striped, but I don’t even know how to use those properly so I end up wasting them too.

1) I swipe wrong candies, I mean I miss candy I want to swipe with next to it, as result it is just 3 candies instead of wrapped candy.

2) I swipe candy and while it is animated I see that there were move to make colored candy

@k55 I do this all the time. Especially my uncoordinatined finger moves where I just want to scream “obviously I didn’t mean to do that!!! Give me my move back!”
