I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game!!  But, before I can answer you with proper suggestions, I would like to make sure about something.... do you have a Gold Colored Piggy Bank OR a Pink Piggy like in below picture?

"Pink Piggy Bank" is the new updated version of Piggy Bank and that is how it works -- you first buy the empty piggy bank and whenever you earn Stars, the Piggy will gain Gold Bars.  Once it's full, you do not have to buy anymore, but just collect those Gold bars.  Once you collect those, same procedure repeats.  You can find more info right here.  Please feel free to provide leave your feedback
