I can ask for lives but i don't get any.
And i don't see a letterbox to collect lives.
But i'm also can't send lives to anyone.
There's no button to send them.
I would send lives to anyone if i could.
I'm playing from Windows 10, Microsoftstore, release date 23-8, updated today, logged in with my King account, User ID 7685008154

I have been playing this game for years. I always send lives to players at the bottom of the screen when I fail a level. Unsure if they get them. However in the 10+ years Ive been playing this game, with a king account and regular updates I have never received a life request from another player and I only ever receive the odd 1 or 2 lives from one particular player even though Ive requested 1000+++ lives when ive run out. Somethings not right here.
