    Well I passed the level & it's safe to say that everything's as it was. Actually just got him in on my team! Just got the popup for the a new skin.

    The Studio has made some magic and the BGT should now be back to your game! 
    We're sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, but you know, King Chewie has his moods and we had to convince him to come back to the game 😉

    So, how long does it take to return? Because I still don't see any sign of the contest on my game.

    EDIT: Never Mind, I had to play a level first so the game would sync with the server.

    I have lost the bubblegum troll event as well after doing an update to the game yesterday. Have tried the numerous fixes suggested and made a few attempts to contact King.  It is truly vexing to have worked to progress through the event only to lose out on some sort of technical glitch.
