How do we receive lives

Hello @kaykayharris24 and welcome to our friendly community!  Are you playing through Facebook?  I have noticed a similar thing.  I will send lives to a whole group of people but there are only 2-3 people who respond on a fairly regular basis.  My suggestion is to go to one of the Candy Crush Friends Facebook groups and look for active players who are willing to exchange lives with you.  This will hopefully get you a few people willing to send lives on a fairly regular basis.  It has worked for me.  😊🐨
